Participation tips

Ⅰ. Notes at the Exhibition

1. Please attend the exhibition and dismantle it strictly in accordance with stipulated time. Be sure not to be late or leave early. When you enter the hall, you should wear badges. As a professional exhibition, someone without badges is not permitted to enter the halls. So please keep it safe. If you missed it, please contact with organizers immediately.

2. When you layout your pavilions, please check your company name and basic facilities. If you rent extra things in advance, you also should check it. Irremovable adhesive tapes, stripes and glues cannot appear in the board. Please don’t use tails to destroy the board, otherwise you will be punished. Please don’t place the containers that protect exhibits on your booth or desert them at your will. You should put them where the organizer designated for their later transportation.

3. Because of strong mobilization of people in exhibition halls, exhibitors should strengthen awareness of theftproof. You’d better take away your valuable things with you after completion of the exhibition.

4. At the beginning of the exhibition, all exhibitors will get a free catalogue. The catalogue includes the basic information of exhibitors, so it is the best guidance for exhibitors to know the industry and exhibition situation. You can get it from the on-site registration.

5. Behaviors of exhibitors: wear formal clothing and keep shoes clean.

6. Collect information actively. Exhibitors should try to talk to professional visitors, because you can obtain more marketing information.

7. Sum up participation experience actively. If it permitting, exhibitors should discuss working plan of the next day after completion of exhibition.

8. Exchange among packaging industry. When no clients come to your pavilions, one of you may walk around the halls to know the market information. But keep in mind that there must be people watching your pavilion.

9. Dismantle your pavilion. You should stick to the dismantling time. You may lose clients who want to visit your pavilion and it will affect your company image.

Ⅱ. Skills to participate successfully

The exhibition is the best platform for you to find a large number of potential clients. Definitely, there are so skills to participate successfully.

1. Do not sit. Sitting on your stands leaves a bad impression: you don’t want to be interrupted.

2. Do not read. Reading newspaper or magazines will not attract others’ attention.

3. Do not eat or drink. It is coarse, dirty and indifferent. And when you eat, potential clients will not interrupt you.

4. Do not ring. Ring for more minute will lessen your time of talking with your clients.

5. Do not distribute your information as soon as you look at someone. It will upset others. But how do you distribute your information to your potential clients? The answer is to post it.

6. Do not talk to people at other pavilions. When clients see you talking with others, they will not interrupt you. You should talk with the potential clients as much as possible.

7. Do not judge people by their appearances. The exhibitors are the only group who must pay attention to their behaviors. The visitors can wear casually, such as jeans, sports shoes and casual trousers. So you should not look down upon the visitors who wear casually.

8. Do not gather. If you talk with two or more participation partners or non-potential clients, that is called gathering. Talking to a group of strangers make visitors embarrassing. You should create an open, wonderful and fascinating atmosphere.

9. To be enthusiastic. Passion is pretty attractive. You should promote your company and products. You stand for the company in the eyes of visitors. Your behaviors will affect visitors’ opinions on your company.

10. To be good at using names of potential clients. When you talk with clients, referring to their names will make themselves focused.

11. Designate special person to meet the media. Media may go to your pavilion to collect news. You must arrange special person to contact the media. If every staff can talk with media, it is troublesome.

12. Wearing badges. You want visitors to refer to your name. You should wear it on your right chest near your face. When you shake with them, they can see it easily.
