On June 2, 2010 CHIPF Opening Ceremony has been held at South Gate in New China International Exhibition Center. Mr. Shi Wanpeng (Vice-president of World Packaging Organization, President of Asian Packaging Federation and President of China Packaging Federation), Mr. Keith Pearson (President of World Packaging Organization), Mr. Carl Olsmats (Secretariat General of World Packaging Organization) and Mr. Yu Xiaodong (Vice- Secretariat General of CCPIT) attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition.
By the end of Apr. 2010, there are over 20 famous enterprises at home and abroad, such as Tetra Pak China Co., Ltd., Shanghai Electric, SGS-CSTC Shanghai Technical Services Co., Ltd., CPMC Holdings Limited and National Green Union for Oil Manufacturers to hold more 30 conferences or forums on packaging.
Mar. 27, 2010 Mr. Wangyuezhong (Vice-Secretary General of CPF) presided over a discussion session on 2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair in Beijing. The conference focused on previous efforts and later plans. The conference and previous efforts have brought great confidence to attendances. It is believed that 2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair will be a grand meeting among world packaging industry after continuous efforts.
With Chinese Traditional Spring Festival coming, Zhuang Yingjie (President of Shanghai Packaging Technology Association), Huang Qihong (Executive vice-President of Guangdong Packaging Technology Association) and Zhang Yaoquan (President of Zhejiang Packaging Technology Association) have sent their heartfelt wishes to people in China packaging industry. And they wish 2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair to have a huge success!
Dec. 2009, China Packaging Federation and Gravure Association of China have made an agreement that Gravure Association of China has become a co-organizer of 2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair.
During Nov. 18-21st, 2009, China Packaging Federation went to promote CHIPF 2010 in Zhujiang River Delta Region and attended 2009 Aerosol Innovation Forum & Show. Besides, it offered a chance to have a face-to-face talk with exhibitors and it was strongly supported by local government, enterprises and media, which strengthened its (2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair) influence in Zhujiang River Delta Region.
During Oct. 28-29th, 2009, Asian Packaging Conference and CPF’s Third Council of Seventh Meeting was held in Shanghai. At the meanwhile, promotional campaign for 2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair was held, which has gained a huge success.
In late Oct. 2009, China Packaging Federation (CPF) signed an agreement with Invest in Sweden Agency (ISA) in Beijing. The ISA has formally become a supporter of 2010 Beijing International Packaging Fair and it will organize participation and visiting groups to attend the exhibition in Beijing.
In Oct. 2009, 20 Industrial Bases of China Packaging Federation, such as China Blow Molding Equipment and Functional Film Industrial Base, China Paper Packaging Development and Production Base, China Application & Research Center of Nanotechnology on Paper Products, China Production Base for Vacuum Aluminum EP Packaging Materials and China Packaging Board (East China) Development and Production Base have decided to participate in Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 as a group.
In middle part of Sep. 2009 Mr. Shi Wanpeng (President of CPF) visited packaging enterprises in Shaanxi, Ningbo and Qinhuangdao as well as declared that Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 would be held in Beijing. Various packaging technology associations promised that they would give a strong support.
In early Sep. 2009 We have begun to invite exhibitors in Tianjin. Also we had a fine feedback, because many enterprises intended to attend Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010.
In late Aug. 2009 Such many famous enterprises as Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co., Ltd, Huiyuan Group, Beijing Sanyuan Food Co., Ltd, Inner Mongolia Mengniu Group, Inner Mongolia Yili Group and Guangzhou Wanglaoji Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd were willing to attend the exhibition.
Aug. 2009 Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 began to invite exhibitors and visitors in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. It has been widely accepted by many entrepreneurs. Also they actively registered to attend the exhibition.
July 2009 Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 established cooperation relationships with such website as British trades, British packaging, Russian exhibition, American shows, Indian tradeshows and Ukraine trades and invited more overseas professional visitors to attend the exhibition.
On June 25th, 2009 Various professional media made wide overages of press conference of Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010. There were such media present as HC360, Sina, Sohu, Tencent, China commerce & business news, China packaging news, China trade news and so on.
On June 24th, 2009 China Packaging Federation held a press conference at the International Convention Center of Beijing International Hotel on June 24th, 2009. CPF officially declared that World Packaging Conference 2010, China International Packaging Forum & Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 will be held during June 1-4th, 2010 and introduce relevant information. Mr Shi Wanpeng (President of China Packaging Federation) and Wang Yuezhong (Vice-president) both made speeches on Press Conference, analyzed international packaging situation and introduced relevant information of CHIPF 2010 to guests.
On May 14th. 2009 China Packaging Federation gathered with representatives of China Taipei Product Packaging Association and cross-strait entrepreneurs in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, discussing cross-strait industry development. China Taipei Product Packaging Association decided to participate in Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 as a group.
In May, 2009 Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 established long cooperative relationships with such professional media as Plastic Packaging, Metal Packaging, Packaging Engineering, China Packaging News, China Packaging Industry, New Height, China Packaging Net and HC360.
In early Apr. 2009 Beijing Sunsource Expo Co., Ltd. was designated as the sole organizer of Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010 by China Packaging Federation.
In early Mar. 2009 With fast development of world packaging industry and increasing demands of international packaging markets, Mr. Shi Wanpeng (President of China Packaging Federation and Asian Packaging Federation) proposed to hold Beijing International Packaging Fair 2010, which has been widely accepted by members of CPF. It aims at quickening development of China packaging industry and enhancing national economic standards in current international circumstances.
